Nice job looks crackin, I know what your saying about the paslode gas it smells worse when the gas is out
of date. Ive got the dewalt nail guns. Ive just got my planning though yesterday for my garage fkn 2 years & an archaeologist cause we live in a historical place which dates back to the 10th century.
No chance they'd find anything I dug it up years ago then back filled it with 200 tonne of stone & hardcore lol. What size is you carport.

A few modifications,

South end was going to be open, same as front.
Two post lift will site between middle posts, so when not in use arms will be swung in line and i can still park two cars inside, hence the south side being open to enable esy entrance to lift.
However decided close it in, plenty of room for a '5 point turn'

I am using EV cable instead of normal SWA, EV cable has Cat5 network cable built in, using a standard gland into the consumer.
I can then run a small POE ( Power over Ethernet) switch in the carport to power my WLAN AP,(wifi thingy) and IP CCTV, providing wifi and hard wired networking to the car port.
I have no plans for an electric vehicle by the way.......

Good size is that, mines will be 8m L x 6.6 W same height as yours. Planning made me reduce mine
as they wanted space at the front for parking o_O What for I want my cars inside ffs.
Stupid bint from planning why do you want a garage that size, cause I have loads of scrap landys luv.
Then at the site meeting she turned up in a 90 & wanted to be my pal.

Steels n fixings etch primed,
It will all be covered with cladding, but it is damp as fook here in the woods in the winter.
Will be fitting some sort of vapour barrier for top floor, ashla walls etc.
Trapdoor will be fun trying to work out how to get a decent vapour and thermal seal
