Double locking beep.

Hi. A newbie to discoveries here. Just changed to a discovery 4 (prefer the shape to the new ones) from an Evoque. Does anybody know if when you double lock by pressing the lock button twice should it beep. If did on The Evoque. Do you have to switch it on in a menu somewhere as mine doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say the onwers manual should answer your questions, but it seems LR user manuals are rubbish on the later models.

So I recommend you post in the Disco section and maybe @gstuart may knwo the answer.

Not really relevant, but on the P38 you get to choose the sound for a mislock between the horn or the BBUS "chirp-chirp" this is set in the BeCM; maybe the D4 has similar options for a "Locked" confirmation?

Done some digging , indeed alarm chirp can be activated via diagnostics

thks buddy , it was bugging me as well and wished to know, so indeed it’s an option for the D4 but not the D3

Alarm churp on the second press of modern lr's normally means volume sensing and double lock has been activated.
