na you just like to twist things , yes I admit I might not spend as much time , as I should describing things in such detail , but I've never been one for paragraph after paragraph just get to the point , if you don't understand ask simple really where as you drone on all by the book that's the differanceYes but you do have a habit of ballsing up your descriptions. Which would lead me to believe you don't know quite as much as you would like people to think. You maybe able to pull the wool over some eyes on here, but you don't know enough to pull it over mine.

I have it's all about leaning , it was a quick simple check,rave and manuels would have you take the prop and drum off , it's just short cuts nothing wrong with that ...,
I ain't a sensible mechanic , but that would be my suggestion - infact this is how unsensible I am - I would have put in N, HB off then tried to push it....but the more sensible answer would be to let gravity do the work!!Any sensible mechanic would have put it on a slight incline and released the handbrake.![]()

I also use multiple sentances and examples when only one or two words would have done, but then again I am verbose, and I get that from my Dad, and he's great so there..!!!![]()
If you lift both rear wheels they will spin even with the handbrake full on that's what a diff does, unless you mean put it in gear with the engine running which would be dangerous as the VCU would lock and propel it forward.

Never assume - as you say in my day job, I have to write instructions and Technical Documents, and again, as you say the person who has to repair, maintain or replace the Components I/we design could be a total numpty....Ant you are the most verbosely gifted person i know. That comes from technical writing were the person following the instructions maybe as thick as pig poo. I make the cardinal error on here sometimes of thinking that the person reading actually knows what i am talking about. That sadly is not always the case.![]()

Jinx - post 30...Yes they will, one will rotate in the opposite direction to the other. The prop shaft will not move.
