yeah cant wait to give it some pasty and see what its like, i had front sorted last time i went to Tong and it seemed to perform better. i can go upto 4" asprings but im happy with the 2" for now...probably will do 4" one day but need to look at front cranked arms aswell which i think their looking into :D..

custom fuel tank is nearly done, just need to get some steel fitting for in/out/breather then just to weld top on. and pressure test

few more pics, progress is a bit slow at minute as car is at uncles garage and work etc

custom fuel tank which will sit in front of rear winch and in between chassis rails

will sit here, this also shows the rear cage mounts which will sit flush with boot floor (ignore the old fuel tank tray)

rear cage mounts

hoop mounts (not sure if im capping these off yet 6mm plate shouldn't go anywhere

few pics of the rear suspension set up

just a scary ass pic, plasma cutter confined space and lots of smoke took m out for a few days so new face mask was needed

Yeah i use them ..Iv not been sunburt from plasma yet I usually get that from welding lol..I will be hooking it up to compressor to.teat it but im looking at geuyting some of the tank sealant stuff aswell

You can't go wrong with a flat cap!!

bit more progress on the boot floor, this may be on the back burner for a while as im coming off shift work to do what we class as "day walker" which is 9-5..so less time off

boot floor going back in, altered the slope in the floor to make it easier to mount cage later on, just caused a few niggles with angles to cut etc but il get there.

boot floor cut to shape, iv got quite a few structural supports in so im going to make the part over front removable to get to the Y piece should I need to,

also cut out an access panel for the winch and fuel tank.

that's pretty much it for now, still trying to find something to use for fuel pipe connectors on the tank that are diesel proof that don't need welding/brazing on

not done too much more, boot floor is fully in now, tank plumbed up and working.

got the rear hoop made and diagonals vut just need to weld em up..

changed front indicators for clear after a word with MOT man about my cracked ones,

dahs is due to come out soon to make was for a T7 heater box as mine packed up,

Fitted aftermarket wheel and removable boss

Fitted guides for waffle boards along floor and a new storage box in back for tools straps etc

well few more updates, these have been over past year but im crap with updates and piccys so will be out of sync at some point...

Decided to make some tree sliders as iv managed to cave a door in before so more box section and some scaffold bar carfully bent created these which are welded to my sills so i doubt they will go anywhere..

bought a 24" led light bar, but couldnt decide where to mount it on front, so this is now mounted to back and il be gettign a 52" curved one for the front :D

ecided to board up all rear windows to save brakages, also showing off the twist kit in action, wheel was still fully on floor

however i managed to kill the kit, when i ordered it i was told 2" springs would be fine, turns out there not and it bottomed out then the shocker pushed the front arms out, thats 10mm steel bending..oops. so until i have money for 4" springs shes currently sat on 2" springs an 2" blocks.

Decided it was time to change the bus steering wheel that landrover provided with a nice little sporty one, also has a snap off boss to slow the crims down abit.

After finding i was only running on 1 horn i thought why not get an air horn...but then i thought why not get 2 :), so fitted these under bonnet at top of scuttle, and wired it in via a 3 way switch so fot MOT i can flick it back to the pathetic meep rather than the aaaauuuuga

After a Parkwood pay and play day i had to replace the indicators (even with light guards) so got some nice clear lenses

Finally got round to making a start on the cage so internal hoop and diagonals done welded and bolted in, the frame work under the diagonals is for my storage box, and its lifted up in the air so that waffle boards will sit snugly inder neath.

After the recent cold spell i found my heater still wouldnt work, so i opted to get a T7 (same as Mr Noisy), so today (19/2/15) started to make a move on the dash coming out and getting the heater out.

so monday i can start to mark up and fit the new one.

lookign at the old motor im pretty sure these arnt suppsed to be here

just a small difference between the old unit and the new one, i should be able to smuggle a few immagrants under the dash when iv done

Body wise shes not bad TBF (now), boot floors been done few times, no issues with rear arches, and fronts have been done, got abit of patching to do in foot wells but nothing major..

not looking forward to removing wiring and movig electricals round i must admit lol
