Took a lot of faffing to get in. Got to run the Doris to work for 6am tomorrow morning so would like to not have stuck doors to contend with at that time of the morning, predicting-5 deg here tomorrow and it was only -1 yesterday when they were seemingly welded shut.
What's best to put on the seals to stop the sticking? Vasaline? or....

Silicone grease is what was recommended to me. Just a very thin smear works well.

I wiped all the door seals down with silicone spray too. Works a treat.
I didn't do the wind seal though, that froze yesterday! Didn't do it because it's furry so last night wiped the paintwork over instead.
No issues this morning
Morning Kermie. Any idea what temp it works down to? It was -4.5 yesterday. Golden Girl was an ice block. I've never had these issues before, in UK. I am on call through the night, sometimes, and 2 hours for the car to defrost won't cut it. She now has a cover on, and I'm looking at engine/battery blanket, but every little helps.

it works by keeping the water off the seals so they can't freeze to the body
silicone oil has a freezing point of -22c but not sure if thats an issue or not

An electric block heater as used in Canada does the job.
