Door Repaint!

Hi, I bought my defender back in June, have since needed a rear safari door replacement (which is done and functioning nicely).
My car is metallic Tomb Raider grey, and I now have a dull, unpainted door.
I want to get it done professionally at a good price!

Due to work, I am regularly in several areas, Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and Newbury, Berkshire...

Any useful advice appreciated!

I am from Wakefield but don't have a clue on paint sprayers but if you wanted I could do it with my paint brush....

Get the army to do it....they did my 109 several times !!!

What branch of the army did this?!!? I have a mech on camp who is constantly doing things for me, but he doesn't paint.

lovin it, so Squaddies never had to paint 109 Land Rovers? Must have been the fairies then.

Told u Lara I do it, spent nearly 20 years painting and having them painted, all ex RCT can do wonders with a brush both paint and sweeping type

Nope! I deal with maps day in day out, don't touch any sort of mil landy, although im trained to drive a few.

I've been quoted from a guy who I know by association in Horbury for about £180, which means the door will have to wait a while at that price.
I want it done professionally, so I dread to think what the army considers wonders..

£180 for a rear door, could you not buy a ready painted new one for that price?
Think I would get yellow pages out and get some other quotes.

I know right, I've got Tax and Christmas delaying me until at least 2015 at the minute. Plenty of time to have a browse around
