Haven't updated this thread for a while, but I recently decided i need headrests for the 2nd row seats so ive replaced mine with Exmoor Trim 'Classic High/Low Back' seats upholstered in black XS half leather. Fitting was nice & easy but it did require making cuts in the leather to reveal the fixing threads beneath. These were purchased from Trakkers who gave great service and made/delivered them within a fortnight. I'm very pleased with them. I just need to get my door cards refitted to finish the interior off...

Shame you sold it, looks like some great work there. Some jalopies are meant to be kept, could you buy it back...or was it time to move on?

Wife took voluntary redundancy last year and in doing so she handed her company car back, that meant we only had the Defender which she refused to drive and I would never have let her drive it anyway. So decided to sell and we bought a Skoda Yeti.

I do miss the Defender but I do love being able to just jump in the yeti and drive off, whereas with the Defender I had to drop the security post, remove the pedal lock, attach the removable steering wheel etc, and I don't miss having to do all that!
