Door Mirror wiped out

After parking the Range on the road whilst the drive has been resurfaced, some blind #### has knocked the door mirror off, not only broken the glass but smashed the thing into pieces leaving it dangling by wires. Looking on ebay they seem to be in the order of £450 - £550 for the early models (mine's a 2003). However the later models (2006 to 2010) are £100 or so but don't have powerfold and puddlelamps. This I can live with, but does anyone know whether they will fit ok and would the electric adjustment still work?
