Hi Ive got a J reg 200tdi Disco. I know there is an issue with the door locks generally but just checking here if its what ive got.
The central locking was working (albeit a bit heavily) via the key in the drivers door.
But thats stopped now and the key will not even unlock the drivers door - so I have to get in via the passenger door and lean over to unlock the drivers door.
When I leave the vehicle I can central lock by pushing the lock thing on the door and holding the handle down but then its back in via the passenger door.
So is this a problem with the spring as in the sticky above (and is it an easy job) or is it something else?
