When pedal out, no noise

As soon as pedal depressed, and engine revs increased, a knocking noise - Which increases with revs. When drivivng all seems to be ok.

So every gear change, this knocking noise is evident when the clutch is depressed.

Release bearing does moan for first few gear changes when cold, but then goes away.

This noise appeared when the pedal bite point got adjusted on the master cylinder.

Its a 90 Td5 with 46K

Any ideas welcomed!!!!

clutch release bearing on mine groaned when failing, could be wear in your flywheel apparently td5's are prone to it, normally felt by it vibrating

dmf failure will sometimes give
1)thrust release bearing type noise.
2)weird idling etc

Yeah, it started making the noise the exact second after the master cylinder was adjusted, so just wandering if it could be anything else rather than something worn. My realease bearing does moan when cold as i said before so i know what that noise sounds like.

Its a soft knocking noise, not metallic. Its like a ping pong ball been hit against a wall :)

Strange hey!! Oh and its been like it since November, got a 1000m drive home soon in a week and a bit, so hope it lasts.
