Does the cracked subframe mount apply to......

Forgive my ignorance please as I'm a noob with my first Freelander 2, does the cracked chassis subframe mount apply to the Freelander 1, or the Freelander 2 (or both?)

I have a knocking coming from the rear N/S when I go over potholes / bumps - is it likely to be the cracked subframe mount or more likely to be drop links etc?

Knocking from the rear on a Freelander 2 is often the shock absorbers. Subframes aren’t an issue on them.
