Does anyone know what the left hand spindle is for on the clocks, the right one is odo and trip. It pushes in but the odo doesnt change. TD4 04 & 06 Man and Auto.

I've been told it's to do with the outside temperature reading on USA models.Perhaps someone over there can enlighten us.
It always seemed odd that even the top specs didn't have a temp readout, when my N reg ExTransco Vauxhall Combi van had one.

Warning dunt touch it!!!!!. . . . .its a back to the tratter time warp modulater, wez fiited by sum dissgrunted Solihull worker who got fed up wiff gaylanders overtakin his old tratter . . . . .mind you every fing else overtakes him so i dont know why he picked on the gaylanders
