Does anyone know

Does anyone know where a can get a little car for a couple of hundred quid to get me to work whilst I save to get my Landy fixed in the Taunton area please

ebay, autotrader, etc

Been on them all day not much success so far. They have all gone really quickly. I'm trying here on the off chance somebody may have a car for sale or know of someone

Try a main dealer - lots of people part ex jaloppees for new cars and they pretty much give em away or sell em in bulk.

Try your local car auctions you'll get proper bargain there

Go to one of the big dealerships. tell them what you are looking for and they will sell you one as seen, with no warranty, they usually send them off to the auctions. Good luck.

Have you considered that a ford ka hired will cost £150 for 10 days, it will be safe and reliable v a banger at £200!

Only down side is you can't scrap/sell hire car.

our local auction charges £180 to buy

I have already hired a car for a week if I do it another week then that is all cash gone at least a banger I can get a couple of months out of it even if it just gets me up to the station and back at least I will get to work. I need to pull the belt in to get the landy fixed now he isn't working and I can't afford to loose my job as well

ebay is your friend it just depends how you are searching.
Look under parts as well as cars as people put them as spares or repairs to get around the fees.

have u tried the free ad papers ... trade it used to be good but i havnt used it for years.
