Does anyone know what this plate is?

This plate was found in a box of Land Rover goodies, anyone know what it is and where it was located on the Land Rover?

Kerb weight perhaps but no idea where it would be riveted.

Yeah thats seems right, its from a series 2 1962. I have never seen a plate like this on one before.

Maybe it was being used for commercial purposes and had to show its kerb weight for towing.

Just for those of you who might never even heard of hundredweights (cwt).

The kerb weights shown on the plate convert to:

1510.916 Kilograms or 1.510916 tonnes
1.48 tons (UK)
3331 pounds.

No idea what it's off or where it goes, but my guess would be somewhere on the bulkhead down by the plates with the transfer box instructions.

I would suspect its a commercial conversion that needed to have a specified kerb weight for some reason... thats my guess

see if there are mounting holes on the passenger seat box, facing out. I've seen a few plates stuck there
