Hey folks. Now Land Rover are one obsession of mine, another is Doctor Who. And the news series is fantastic.
Land Rovers have been featuring in Doctor Who since the 60's, and plenty in the 70's when Pertwee was Doctor 3.
There have been some good moments - exploding a grenade in the back of one and the Landy kept going.
There have been bad moments - Tom Bakers Doctor breaks down in a Landy in Terror of the Zygons.
Now UNIT and the military are back in Doctor Who, and they bring their good old Land Rovers with them, army 110's.
And here is the gripe - they refer to them as JEEPS!!!!
It's not a Jeep... it's a LAND ROVER! For crying out loud you'd think the BBC could get that little point right by now. And yes, I do have too much time on my hands and are a big geek for making posts like this.
