Hello Happy Holydays to all.

Fuel heater....
Do we really need it? Mine works but I guess the temp sensor is kaput. Because no matter how cold or hot it always turn on.... Can anybody tell me or point me to the sensor?
Many Thanks

The Land Rover man since it charged me 6 pounds for one cooper washer is opinion is always to be considered
The truth is I live close to Weymouth its cold sometimes it snows...yes....but...
In a few months this wonderful car is going to Portugal to live there. Does it snows there?.....noooo ...some ice?....rarely.
So does it needed it?
What what is the sensor to replace if its really needed?
Many thanks

If you don't think you need it, would you be interested in selling the fuelburning heater setup? Your freelander is destined to go to Portugal, mine lives at 57.5° North, and would benefit from this piece of kit, perhaps we could do a deal?

So no one knows where and what is the ambient temp sensor????
They are behind the bumper. It will be attached to a small plate bolted to the crashbar on the the drivers side. Don't know where to get one which is a pain as that's a problem I'll be facing if it gets any colder.

Circular featureless sensor with a two pin plug. Must be a simple close to make style sensor as bridging the pins makes it run all the time.
