Hi Guys,

Good old leaky injector pump. All Apart but I can't remove the pump. Do I have to remove this timing flange thing (see attached pic). I didn't think it needed to come off but I can't get the pump out otherwise as I don't have enough room to with draw it. If it is removed how do I retain the timing as this flange is what the 9.5mm drill fits through. So removing it will mean I lose the timing setting or is it keyed.

Cheers

Ed

dont undo large nut on front of pump undo 3 x bolt holding pulley to pump flange then 3 x pump securing screws ,but you will need to remove timing belt and 2 bolts on pump support bracket at back

How do I withdraw the pump. It is all disconnected but seems to clash on the oil filter housing preventing it coming out. There is a bracket on the rear of the pump with 3 torq screws. Should that be removed. I didn't remove it as the screws seem to be part of the pump?

I've struggled for quick a while and each time the bracket jams on the oil filter. My only options I think are to remove the oil filter housing or the bracket. With the bracket being the favorite! I've not removed the pump before is it normally is tight withdrawing the pump.
