Hi all, I am replacing the clutch on my 200 tdi in the next couple of weeks.

As I have been trying to locate a vibration from the transfer box area and whilst the transfer/gearbox are out I intend replacing the output shaft bearings front and rear to eleiminate them from the the list.

I have a good range of tools i.e. pullers/large vice ect but no other workshop facilities like a press, are they a diy job?

Thanks in advance

regards

Dave

yup - diy jobby - only prob with tbox output seals is getting a socket big enuf fur the oil seal (to tap it in) but long enuf to clear the output shaft.

make sure to try and keep the oil seal as flat as possible.
