Ok - an opportuntiy for **** take

Bought a Dixon Bates Tow Bar - instructions are a bit ****e

Does it matter which way round the 'L Section' steel bars go that attach from the chassis to the hitch plate?

Logically I'd have the flat surface to the top to stop dirt and crap sitting in the L section, but not sure that's right

Anyone got any pics of one they've got fitted?

Cheers Pikey

I'll start by fitting the bracket to the X Member and build it up from there - should be obvious as I go what goes where!

Famous last words!

It goes exactly as shown in the Pic. If you have Jaterings they'll have to come off. as the angle iron bolts to the same hole that the Jatering would normally fit into.

Also the distance from the hole to the bottom of the bracket is shorter than the distance from the top to the hole, meaning that they only go the way that is shown in the pic.

If u know what I mean

Fitted today

A bit of a pain as the brace that goes behind the cross memeber had to be ground down, as did the strut near the exhaust

Anyway, fitted now and just the electrics to do
