Has anybody just ditched the plastic headlight surrounds - and if so does it look ok or are there loads of odd holes? My Military never had them, and that looked fine, but then it was a little less refined all round...

Currently considering either trying to match them to the body colour or lob them in the bin, so any pictures would be good!

My ex-mod 110 does not have the light covers. I've thought about adding them.

looks far better with contrasting surround imo...... its part of the defender look.

if its the stage 1 look you want then fair enough.

But then its potato - potatoe. i like coloured lensed lights - most folk fit them god awful chavtastic clear ones :D

Having only had militaries before I've never had them so tend to find them a bit... plasticy... but now faced with a respray I'm not sure whether to try and colour match them or just ditch them as I don't really want yards of black plastic on the front of my nice Welsh Grey / White 110.

(I like my indicators orange too Top Drive!)

I agree - I like the idea of the series / Stage 1 bezels too Richard, although I can't see any anywhere!

keep an eye open on ebay i didn't have to wait long to find some at a sensible price having the bezels also make it a little longer to nick a head light rather than just one screw

My 90 has body-coloured light surrounds and I prefer the look to black ones. You could always fit the headlight bezels from a series 3 to fill in the gap.

Gone for this look on my ex-MOD 90, the plastic has all gone but it is not quite as bare as just fitting the surrounds.
