Good morning all i am a new member, can anyone help me, my p reg disco when i drive it a long way and the engine is hot i can not start it untill it cools down but it will jump start :doh:

Had this problem with a diesel cavailer, turned out to be the starter motor, that wouldn't start when hot either

Probably jammed solenoid which means a new starter motor. You could check and see if the earth is sound or run one direct to ensure a good connection before you replace it.
