Hi there, I'm really glad you got it sortd out, but I feel a bit daft:eek:  as I have immobilser trouble when I renewed the ignition switch on my wife's Disco and I forgot to mention that

Oh well, it's me age guv'nr

fixed our lanny through this thread , we couldn't find the fuses under the bonnet, pics that were posted helped us greatly many many thanks

Just finished removing Toad Alarm, as AA man said it was faulty and the reason why car wouldnt start, having removed that found the Landrover one was also stopping the old girl from starting, just to make matters more entertaining!
SO!!
Have removed it, and have now run a wire from AC3 to the starter solenoid, hey presto the old girl runs!
However, the central locking etc doesnt, must run through said black box!
One would assume that there is some kind of fob to turn it on and off.
Anyone know???
With it connected, the horn sounds, and the hazards flash when you open any doors, or try to start her. With said box out, no flashing hazards and horn! Nice!!!!
Would be good to have central locking back!!!

Do elec windows ect work? there are fusable links in the wiring loom on o/s wing near to bulkhead (loom has clothy outer at links) have seen these chorode which can allow small drain components to work but power disappears under high load demand

If you have removed the box you should be able to see either AMR 6240 10AS or AMR 2106/9 17VT. The 6240 has a 2 button fob and the 2106/9 a 1 button fob.

It always helps to put the year and model of your disco when asking advice.
:welcome2:
