Discovery V8 - what size engine?

I'm just looking at a Disco V8 on Ebay and it says it's a 3500cc. It's first reg Aug 1994, so would that be a 3.5 carb or a 3.9injected??

Just wondering about an lpg project.

Just looked at the spec of a 91 model, 3.9 injected, should think the one your looking at will be the same.

Doubt the carburettor would have been fitted so late as catalytic converters became compulsory during 1993 & only cheaper car makers without good injection systems persevered for a couple of years. Could be someone retro fitted an older motor or even some wierd import tho.

So you reckon it's worth about £700-800?

seems to be the going rate but even if it goes for the bin the price is there or there abouts.Have you compared to to other similar milage/ages/specs it will probbaly be a similar price!If you pay the full whack for it and its a nice one I wouldnt be bothered.
