My D2 td5 has just passed 20 years and 135k milestone. Basically I have serviced, repaired it or replaced lots of parts on my own. I am confident and proud of it, it has no other advisory but a little oil leak on engine harness. I experienced only one breakdown on M4 for sudden alternator failure. Given its age and mileage I would like to know what breakdown you have got and what should be watched or serviced? Any comments are appreciated!

All fluids including gear/transfer box and axles. SLS and ACE filters if you have them. Keep an eye on the FPR and make sure the turbo waste gate is moving freely. Grease the prop shaft. Keep the door locks moving with a spray if WD40 now and again, especially the rear door. I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think at the moment.
Edit; check the red plug at the ECU for oil occasionally.
Edit 2; This would be better in the Disco section.
