Hi can anyone help?
i have a 2001 TD5 discovery (auto) that has just started having a power problem. The symptoms are as follows. engine starts and runs fine (no coughing) and will rev all the way up again with no problems. But when driven at about 2800 revs it starts to hunt and will not kick down, but if you back off the throttle it will slowly build up speed. RAC have plugged computer in and did not get any error codes. Could it be one of the following- air mass sensor? fuel pump? or gearbox? any help would be great, thanks.

Poss MAF sensor. Had the same problem on mine.Type your problem into the search and loads of info will come up. Plenty of peeps on here will help if you help yourself

its called overboost . check your turbo system lines, acuator arm and boost solenoid .have a search for all things that cause it and how to fix it
