I have a problem with my autobox in my 1999 Discovery TD5, the one way clutch(sprag clutch) has failed causing it to only pull away when 1st is engaged. I have a ZF4HP22 box from a 4L petrol Discovery 2, i am lead to believe that they will not interchange as the bell housing is different along with the splines on the input shaft. If that is the case is it possible to change the bell housings and the input shaft along with the pump or if this is not possilble would the one way clutch be interchangeable. Any help or suggestions as what to look out for whilst rebuilding would be appreciated also manuals seem to be very thin on the ground for rebuilding this box and theres not much help on the Rave CD for it.
