Discovery Steel Rims

Can anyone point me in the direction of places in UK that may be able to supply Discovery 1 16"steel rims with a 1" offset, preferably not modular. will also need to freight them to New Zealand:-( that might be the cost killer.

I currently have 1"spacers in but would like to get away from those if possible. Having rim centres reversed here would achieve same result then I have to have them certified which is a huge cost.

Landy parts here are scarce and expensive unlike UK.

I think you would be cheaper having yer wheels done over there or living with yer spacers or trying somewhere in oz my friend just shipped a parcel too his mum from the uk to the south island he was 100 pounds for 12 kg thats about 220 dollars i think if you have to get your wheels certified it will be the same buying from here they wont come with any certification ?

Yes, that sounds a lot of $ alright. I think sea freight is considerably cheaper, but takes longer, but the weight of 5 rims would sure exceed 12kg

I am assuming after market rims would not need a cert here, only modified rims, but I may be wrong.

How would anyone no if they where after market or modified if they are done correctly would be hard to tell

I just had a look at some rims on LRDirect and the freight to Auckland works out to be around $500 no doubt that is air freight. $1500 for a full set of brand new alloys landed.
There was somebody on trade me selling late defender large off set steels rims. I have not checked if they still for sale
