Hello all,
Just bought a Discovery II V8 Auto with the combined SatNav/Radio/CD and I'm having trouble with the radio code. I've managed to get what I believe is the correct code from the dealer who sold me the vehicle (the one written in the book was a digit short) but the unit will not accept it full stop.
At the moment it is sat there with "Enter Code Number" flashing and no button will function.
Before posting this I checked out the other threads about radio code problems but none of them seemed to cover this exact situation. The word "Code" is supposed to appear, I believe, if the wrong code is entered and then "Wait" for 60 minutes if it is entered incorrectly 3 times but neither of these have appeared at all.
I've disconnected the battery a couple of times and also had the ignition on at position 1 (Aux) for more than an hour but the unit remains in the same stubborn state...."computer says no"....
Does any body have any ideas how to rectify this before I drop it back into the dealers lap (non-LR dealer, by the way)?
Kind regards
Varnish
