Hi
Just done an oil change on my discovery also changed the injector loom. Dropped the auto g/box sump changed the filter and oil there too. Although it drives alot better under hard acceleration seems to hold back and then surge then hold back and surge. Two days ago it did pull well under hard acceleration but more often than not it surges. Has anyone else experienced this any clues?
Had wondered if there was a problem with the fuel pressure regulator.

First check that you have fully seated connector in front of cylinder head for the injector loom. Then check your plugs on the ECU for oil contamination. If you have a FPR problem then this normally means a diesel leak from the 'bowl' due to a failed 'O' ring.

Other than that it could be a loose connection on an injector or something totally different in Land Rover style

Did u follow the specific oil filling procedure with idling engine?.......it's important coz it could make tricks on u if not.
