have a fault on my L reg disco been playing with it for a while ,fitted new indicator relay as advised to on here repeater light on dash didnt work ,it now flashes on and off when ever any thing is touched in the motor ,ie pressing the brakes ,selecting reverse ,opening the door ,tooting the horn etc etc , all the lights on the motor work as they should ,the indicators dont flash when the relay is having its moment but work ok when selected , any one got a clue as i am loosing the plot with it

when you get multi circuits doing things they shouldn't it's 'usually' down to a bad earth connection... somewhere.

Hi i'm not familiar with english registration alocations so i dunno if "L reg" is D1 or D2. If it's D2 i might be able to help if u are a bit handy with electrics. I suppose it's something in connection with the hazard switch circuit but u must make some measurements. I decline my competence if it's a D1.

The towing sockets have been known to cause problems the black one is the one to look at just take it apart and clean and put back together with a dap of vasaline/grease.
