Hi I have just done this conversion myself without having any wiring to the seats from car .change the centre consul which had the movement switches to the seats. While consul was out pick earth wire from behind hand brake position this needs to be plugged into black wire in the brown plug under seat with jump across to o/p wire .then take a feed from B/p wire in plug to white and orange wire on your rear window switch in centre consul .this way when ignition is off there is no power to seats .hope this helps someone in future ..it is all fused by seat fuses plus rear window fuses .thanks adejg

None of that made any sense at all :)

Now with pictures for those of us who might think of doing something similar in future ;)

Hi sorry post didn't make sense .
I've just fitted leather electric seats to my td5 pursuit .on this model there is no wiring loom to do this .oobviously you'll need the centre console with switches as well .these switches plug into grey plug under each seat .yellow plug must be plugged in before turning ignition on as this is part of air bag system.
Right if you look under seat , there is a brown plug attached to rear cross member . There's 4 wires to this ,black wire is eathed to suitable chassis point .second is orange and purple this is the seat relay earth also connect to earth .2 down next is the 12volt feed brown and purple thick wire same as black earth wire. I picked up my 12 volt feed of the rear widow swicthes in the centre console as these are a direct 12 v feed and with ignition off there is no power to seats ,you need orange and white wire next to black wire . Hope this explains better .thanks
