discovery d1 d2 body swop project

So you end up with the simple, reliable TDi 300 mechanicals and chassis plus the rust-free and modern look of a TD5 body - well done indeed !!!!

How did you sort out the suspension? How does she handle? Like a TDi or a TD5?

Thanks dave yeah im really happy with the out come .
yes i have the best of both no rotten d2 chassis and no rotten d1 body.
suspension is all from d1 . it handles really much like a d1 but i went right through it poly bushs every were even a frame. still got few bits to do then done. Not an easy job as the d2 body is longer and wider .
 
Fantastic really really keen on this. Been wanting to do this for about a year now but met with nothing but negativity so well done.
