Would it still be classed as a d1 and not some kind of kit car? Or something else?
i wonder what way they would look at it if you done the same with a rrc chassis.
That is a really fantastic project.
So you end up with the simple, reliable TDi 300 mechanicals and chassis plus the rust-free and modern look of a TD5 body - well done indeed !!!!
How did you sort out the suspension? How does she handle? Like a TDi or a TD5?
