Discovery Cruise control problem

Hi I am new to this site and I am looking for some help fixing my Cruise Control on my 1996 Dscovery TDi 300sx. I have replaced all my rubber hose but have found that there is one hose running from the unit under the bonnet on the left hand side the goes along the top of the bulk head down the right hand side past the air filter box and then just dangles there connected to nothing? I know there must be missing something but I dont know what, can anyone tell me what it should be going into?

Yes, if you feel around under the place for the bottle jack behind the passenger side headlamp there should be a pump with a lipped pipe on it for this hose to fix on to- it`s a pig to get to though as it`s below the jack plate & inside the boxed section.

may be worthwhile to drill out pop rivits holding jack base plate to get better access.
