Discovery 300tdi armrest

I dont know if anyone can help but I have just purchased from ebay a set of leather seats for my 94 300 tdi discovery. My intention is to put the drivers seat into a trimmer before I install it to have the foam/ diaphragm etc sorted and Ive been quoted around £40 for this. I am wondering if anyone knows if I can fit a folding armrest like I use to have on my RR classic while the seats in bits? I know the seats from discos and RR classics are interchangeable but is it the same frame underneath with a place for the armrest to go on? Any advice would be appreciated.

Exmoor Trim retro fitted (or did) arm rests to existing disco seats so I would say yes.

Exmoor trim tell me they dont do them. Ive dropped my seat off at the trimmer and he says its a different frame and would need a bracket welded on so I am not going to bother. Thanks anyway.
