Discovery 3 Rear Toe Spindal Rods

I have posted some pictures of two nuts that I cant budge, on the inside of the toe spindal rods. They take 23mm sockets and not with a breaker bar, nor an impact gun, would they move.
I have the new spindal rods but they came without the nuts, it's a 17mm diameter thread and I cant find nuts to match anywhere close to me, so I cant just cut them off.
Is there any obvious way in which I can take these off that I may have missed. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's unlikely they're a 17mm dia thread - that would be a very, very unusual size.
On my L322 RR I had to cut the tie rods out with a reciprocating saw as the bolts were rusted solid in the bushes.

I would try an M16 nut for size, as your caliper jaws dont seem to be square on the threads?

I have tried 16 and 18 mm . It's not square because I could not hold it and photograph it at the same time. The thread is 17 mm or .6695 of an inch, 21/32.
The size of the nut and bolt are a fact trust me please this is not my first rodeo.
I think I'll try to cut it between the chassis and nut and then unthread the nut on a vice.
I just thought that maybe the force of the Jack or weight of the suspension might play a part in why it's so tight, apart from the obvious rust and dirt.

That definitely looks like 17mm - wierd!
As you're measuring what I assume is the replacement part, you've presumably got the mating nut too. If not, try Island4x4 as they can be quick.
The photo on the car looks to show some type of castellated nut - unless it's an odd prevailing torque nut?

Looks like one of them lock nuts that is all steel, ie the ears are slightly bent inwards.

Yes its a castellated nut but no split pin through the bolt ?
No they never sent out the nuts but they were not part of the kit I ordered.
I ll have a go at lifting up ends of the nut it might be some kind of lock nut, I have a defender I thought Id seen types by now.

Part No. is RYH500116 - they look readily available.
According to island4x4 it is 17mm as you've measured
