For Sale Discovery parts

NO LONGER AVAILABLE, NOW SCRAPPED ..


Looks like I have scored a complete discovery to break for the engine and ancillaries , transfer box, and steering box .
The rest will be surplus and as such available as spares . However I dont have any space to hang onto the remains for long so thought it might be worth asking in advance if there were any parts that might be useable or sought after to discovery owners before it goes to the crusher . I can take off any of the parts that are serviceable that folk might be interested in. and hopefully return a chunk of the outlay .

If there are any Discovery parts you might be looking for , add a post below , Once I get the breaker home I can assess the condition of any of the parts and get back to you with pics and prices ..

Im located in North East Scotland , willing to post /pallet at your cost .

I have no ideal at this point what condition the donor is in . But I'm hopeful that there will be a few items on it that might be serviceable to other folk before it goes to be weighed in. If you cant bear the thought of an old disco being weighed in, I would be open to an offer for the remains , No engine , no engine ancillaries, probably no transfer box but that's negotiable , and no steering box .. unless you can provide one in exchange .. I should be travelling to view the donor on Tuesday / wednesday 28th Feb 2023 and will have a better idea of any salvageable parts at that time .

Front drivers seat dependant on colour and condition thanks

Noted re the driver seat ., what colour are you looking for ..

I think I may be going to view this on Sunday 26th Feb with a view to collecting it the following week ..

Platic trims all appear to be intact on the interior .. as for seats they look to be in decent condition although driver seat was covered with a plastic seat cover, not sure what lay below. Interior was grey cloth with a herringbone pattern .. body is a bit beat up with plenty moss and the fella mentioned rust put it out of action so I'm guessing the chassis is toast .. There will be a few bits salvageable before it goes to the crusher ..

Got the donor Disco home , some good parts to be had others marginal , but be good to see as much of it harvested to keep others on the road .

Discovery 1 1995 red, grey cloth interior .

Back door is mint but spoken for , Bonnet is very good, I haven't seen a dent on it but i haven't power washed it yet. its a bit mossy.

All glass available , not seen any chips but collection would be preferred for glass items . 2 x sunroofs , look OK

glass lifter motors on drivers door , passenger front door and driver side rear door all power up and down

various switches / trim / door cards in grey cloth in good clean condition , rear seats in grey cloth some mould staining but no child staining or fag burns , will have a closer look if any interest

rear corner seats probably never sat it ..

3 x old range rover style steel rims

no decent tyres

good useable fdriverd front wing .. doors have minot aluminium reaction on lower edges but seem solid, happy to poke and scrape them to ensure they are useable doors if any interest

rear wings are showing signs of electrosis under the paint but appear solid,, ahain will give them a scrape and a good prod if any interest .

plastic fuel tank spoken for

good front grille with no cracks or chips one good grille to lower wing trim, one chipped ..

2 keys , fits locks and ignition

some parts previously been butchered butif you need anything please ask.

Engine / r380 box and transfer box spoken for and not available . Front and rear axles available .. ( disc brake front and rear ) been poly bushed in the past . condition not known.

looks like it has a really solid chassis , will give it a closer look if any interest .

be quick I need this away asap.. preferably within 2 weeks ..
