lol i am in cheshire mate ?

Have a looky round the usual peeps and check their stock holding / delivery times ...

and don't forget that the rotoflex acts like a coupling, allowing slight movement and reducing any sharp forces ( such as 33" tyres suddenly biting on rock).
If this is removed, could such forces be moved to somewhere else causing another area to break such as tailshaft or diff?

Your wallet may not like this as it is more expensive than the couplings - just to remind you :D ;)

right guys i am totally lost now look at this i just found ?

this basically is saying there is a spacer for a 3&4 bolt flange ?

so i just check my 300tdi diff and this is what i found looks like a spacer

have you put any oil in the diff ,and its not clear from pic whether theres a spacer or not or whether you needed one

right this is a diff i took out today 2nd one.. what was whinning when off load! one in car now doing the same. its off a 300tdi. and yes i put 1.7 litres of ep 90 in it. But this really dont answer my issue that there is a spacer on a 300tdi diff by the looks of it when i been told theres not? if you look at guide its got a spacer for 300tdi but that not going to stop the move ment up and down tho is it ?

wow confusing ,diffs allways had a spacer between bearing and flange as in the link from manual ,when they bought out 3 bolt flange spacer was incorportated into flange ,so all 3 bolt flanged diffs have no spacer fitted as its part of flange they then also bought out a 4 bolt flange with spacer incorporated ,if you stand flanges together you can obviously see the difference in length ,a short flange without spacer would lead to loose flange a ruined bearings shortly ,a long flange with spacer as one if fitted with a spacer as well would lead to a very tight bearing if you could get bolt started

what flange have you been fitting pic , then i can tell you if it needs the seperate spacer ,once fitted diff should turn smooth with no play

morning right i have found the flange what i ordered. But this does not still answer my issue as there is a spacer when you take off the 3 bolt flange. So my understanding now is that you need 2 spacers ?
