Have a looky round the usual peeps and check their stock holding / delivery times ...
and don't forget that the rotoflex acts like a coupling, allowing slight movement and reducing any sharp forces ( such as 33" tyres suddenly biting on rock).
If this is removed, could such forces be moved to somewhere else causing another area to break such as tailshaft or diff?
Your wallet may not like this as it is more expensive than the couplings - just to remind you
