discovery 2 td5 problem

hi guys can someone help me out? here goes 4 weeks ago my td5 lost drive all together the garage fitted a front diff from a tdi as it was broken,at the same time a new gearbox as the old one popped out of 2nd gear also fitted a new clutch and flywheel.
i went to collect it today but as they completed it and went on a road test it will go up to 30mph then it seems like the front diff is locking up and the tc light comes on.
some folk say the td5 diff is a different ratio to tdi and some others say there the same has anyone had this problem or know what could cause this?
 
diff ratio is the same ,has someone switch t/box into difflock to aid fitting ,jack one front wheel up and see if it can be turned

hi guys upon further inspection the problem dont seem to be mechanical the tc licht comes on and brakes the car at 30mph when taking a fuse out for the abs to bring up the three amigos it is fine but once it goes back in the problem is back. has anyone had this before?
