Good evening everyone, I just thought I'd share my recent issues incase anyone else out there is having the same issues.

So my trucks not been my daily for a few months now and has had very little use but when the weather started to turn I thought I'd start to use it as my daily again but when I come to unlock it and it didn't unlock I thought my battery had died but after opening it with my key the alarm started going off! The immobiliser was flashing but luckily I had my eka codes available, so after doing the code it started then cut out a few times then had no throttle. I checked the remote antenna and it was water damaged on the circuit board so I replaced that and the car locks and unlocks now.

Then when I tried to start the car it had no dash lights the engine didn't crank then suddenly all the lights come back on and the car would crank but not start, I noticed that the engine management light wasn't coming on and my diagnostics wouldn't connect so I started checking fuses and relays I found a plug in the passanger footwell had a little bit of water corrosion on the pins so cleaned up and tried to start it again but the same thing was happening, I then removed the engine bay fuse box to check the plugs underneath and it was pretty evident why I was having all these electrical issues!!! See the photo, my inner arch has a small hole but it's allowed my fuse box to fill with water and mud and corroded most the pins and plugs.

So my word of advice is check your arches for holes and once I've repaired the arch and the fuse box/wiring I'm going to cover the plugs on the relay with water repellant spary.

Just thought I'd share my issue as I was searching hi and lo for similar problems but couldn't find much.
