New battery fitted today (Tayna 120 aH 1000cca) and it starts lovely. Thanks for all the help. But.....

The interior lights, radio and clock no longer function. Tried everything connection wise; read that the BCU can be affected by battery failure. I have looked at the factory manual but can't find a wiring diagram anywhere. Seems many people have had this fault on Disco 1's but I'm not finding anything on 2's. Checked the fuses to radio in the driver's side fusebox - all OK. I can get a small feed at the interior lamps that seems to indicate the doors are signalling (small change in volts between open and shut) but nowhere near what is needed to run the bulbs. The radio is dead - no "code" or anything on the display. The clock seems to light up dimly, but the time is just a faint bunch of black lines that won't set.
Just to clarify; last weekend changed SLS bag units and O/S position sensor; removed (lowered) headlining and sealed up sunroof drains, repaired sunroof motor; refitted all the above; everything done worked fine: but afterwards it wouldn't start - battery run flat from doors being opened / shut for most of the weekend. Today - replaced battery and N/S SLS position sensor... sunroof works, starts, SLS perfectly level but still radio, interior lights and clock all dead. Edit ;- just been and checked the earth and supply to each of the three interior lights and there is no power on any of the purple wires to these lights - earths are OK.

Help please....... sort one problem; find another........ getting fed up......:(

Steve.

Oh yeah..... fuse 20 blown! Interior lights and clock now function - radio still dead. Bah! Is there a fuse inline to the radio? Ours is a hi line version with the CD changer. I managed to find a LHD wiring diagram for a 2004 Disco but not sure if it is compatible with RHD. Where are the wiring and fuse diagrams on the downloadable manual? (is it called Rave; or is that a different item?). Any help appreciated!
Wife is only concerned she has no radio...... o_O
