So I've been trying to set the toe on my D2 this weekend using an optical alignment tool but I just cant seem to get both front wheels to read the same toe

I've been adjusting the toe with the track rod but it only seems to make a difference to the drivers side wheel - the passenger side doesn't seem to be moving in conjunction with the drivers wheel.

As such I've got the drivers wheel a touch toe out but the passenger side is a touch toe in. I cant seem to get them both reading the same. Seems like the drag link may need disconnected to set the toe?

Any ideas? Thanks

with the drag link connected it is only going to move o/s wheel when you adjust track rod,if steering box is pinned central n/s wheel can be adjusted by drag link ,then o/s with track rod

When I look on rave it suggests only the track rod is to be adjusted with the draglink only adjusted to re-centre the steering wheel, hence my confusion!?

tracking can only be adjusted by the track rod,but apart from the the tracking box needs to be central too when wheels are,its likely both will need adjusting to get it correct, you can do it the way i suggested or remove drag link

Either do it as JM suggests, or if you're averse to that - perhaps just turn the steering wheel until you're happy with the toe in on the near side, then use the track rod to adjust the off side. (The near side staying put, as it's 'held in place' by the drag link)
