Morning fokes

I just got my TD5 and have found out that the Traction Control, HDC and ABS dont work...

With the ignition on i have no ABS or TC warning lights however the HDC comes on as normal and then goes out of start up..

I have checked the ABS fuse and its in place and appears to be fine

So really im really worried I have something badly wrong with the car..

Thanks in advance

did you actually remove the front of the instrument pack to see it's no tape in front of those LEDs?... + I have a feeling that your green HDC light comes on not the bottom amber one? ... if you can confirm there's no tape there search ''RAVE'' and download one then when you have it i'll tell you what o do.. provided you can handle a multimeter and up to do some measurements

Thats correct, the only HDC light that comes on is the green one in the top left of the dash

Just to give you an update it would appear that the last owner was trying to mask a fault with the 3 Amigos and had a great idea of removing the dash and breaking the LED bulbs out so they didnt light up.. Great so the next problem is getting the new dashboard and mileage to sync up... Might not be as easy as it sounds...

I've not seen inside the instrument 'pod' but could you not remove the broken bits and solder in new LED's, rather than replace the whole dash? If they're the standard type, you can get get these from Maplin for pennies.

I believe that when you put in a new dashboard it will reset to the higher mileage value of either the old or new dash, so make sure that you get a new dashboard with lower mileage than your current. Apparently no way round it.
