Discovery 2 ECU Reprogramming

Hi guys..

I wonder if you would be able to help me.
I have a 2000 TD5 Discovery with an MSB ECU.
After having issues with the old ECU which subsequently died, we have replaced it with one from a donor vehicle.
We now need to reprogram the ECU with the correct injector codes (Which we have) and SLABS/immobiliser information.

Does anyone know someone who would be able to help around the Derby/Nottingham area or could you point me in the right direction of a specialist who would be able to help?

You should join the D2 Boys Club - specialist D2 site that's free to join and use.

There are loads of owners on there with Hawkeye or Nanocom who will be able to help you.

The procedure is register, post your first post in the "New member - Introduce yourself" section, then look at the Diagnostic Nanocom locater thread.

Plenty of D2 owners outside the club as well, I have a Hawkeye but too far away from you, plus I'm not sure if the Hawkeye has that function enabled.

Hawkeye can programm the ECM without probs

lz international rescue - has a list of hawkeye/nanocom owners

When you get to do this procedure,all you need to do is a security relearn enable the engine to start and run, then input the injector codes.in reality they often don't make much difference.There is no programming or coding to do with respect to the SLABS ecu.
Its also better to use the later NNN type ecu rather than the older MSB type as the NNN is flash programmable - ie, easier to remap...
