Disco 2 Discovery 2 dash buzzing

Guys I have discovery 2 when I turn on the ignition I hear what sounds like a small motor start up, and it sounds like its coming from behind the dash on the driver’s side nearest the right side of the dash, car starts and runs fine but I can still hear this motor buzzing away in the back ground all the time the ignition is on, can anyone thrown any light on what this is and what it’s doing.

That is your cabin temerature sensor fan making a noise. It is vet easy to pop out and clean. There are a few write ups about it.
