Evening all, have a 2004 Disco that's been running very sluggish at low revs ten bursting into life at about 1800 rpm. After reading some of the threads on here have disconnected the MAF and it appears to be running alot smoother thank before so I am assuming that the maf is faulty.just wanted to get advise on wether leaving it disconnected until replacement is here will cause me any other problems wii be removing egr at same time so hopefully this will improve it running all round. Thanks in advance for any advise given

Leaving it dissconnected wont harm it as the ECU uses its own values in the absense of readings from the air flow meter.

It,s not going to take you many days to get a new one for it.
