Disco 2 disco2 td5 wont start

Went out the other morning to go to gym engine turned over about 6 times didn't start switch off tried again this time nothing just a click from under steering wheel, checked that the auto box lever was in park tried again nothing just a click not a click from starter motor, checked battery condition that's fine.
Had a slight vibration from transfer box not a bad one, other than that had a recon engine fitted runs great
any ideas guys please.

Check the small lucar connector on the starter solenoid to not be loose eventually give a tug to the starter with a piece of wood or something then try again
