Hi i have just purchased a discovery 2 --2001 reg
The key fob was intermittently working until now  so i changed the receiver up in the roof and that made no difference

I can start and run with the eka code :) I have read on a post that you can switch off the immobiliser with Faultmate ??

You can switch it off with a nanocom too. Have you tried changing the battery in the fob? Don't forget to resynch the fob afterwards.

:welcome2: to LZ by the way.

Thanks i will try that first and if that fails i think i will just go for the nanacom or find someone in scotland that will do it :) would landrover ??

I did speak to a specialist in edinburgh i explained that i was a mechanic and had tried all the different things, they thought it might take a couple of hours labour to diagnose the BCM which i believe is the fault. Maybe i should ask them to just switch it off ... :) Thanks for that ive been skimming through forums for a week scratching my head.
