i get around 12 on petrol and a bit less on gas in my rangey. but that depends on journey type, conditions , driving style and time of month, i get less mpg just after pay day for some reason
you'll prolly get 15% ish less mpg on gas than petrol.

if it's a single point then about right.. multipoint you should by rights be getting a bit more.. what made you expect to get 15????

If your Disco is modded on raised suspension, fat tyres, extra lights etc that will really dent your fuel economy - it did on my last V8.

got as far as Frome before it boiled..
baggyjim popped round the other day with a dizzy to look at and then posted a whole new fred taking the mick out of the concrete block that was posing as my rad..
so rad off tomorrow and see how I go..

yeah I nicked the mondeo left her with the old banger instead..
modeo did the job OK actually.. wasn't too embarassed.. still had damn backache by the time I got to Exeter though..

nah you got it started remember.. and the thermostat was deffo fooked.. plus you did say if it didn't go well on the late night test you'd pop over and help me take the rad out so you were on the right tracks..

obviously pulling the caravan is more effort for the old girl than it seems from the pilots seat.. cos it hardly got warm on the test run then as soon as I got on the long straight by the frome flyer it started shooting up..
still think them springs r dodgy though.. revs up fine and if I let off the throttle gently all good but if I drop the throttle from high revs she stalls...
