Disco Tyre sizes

Hi All,

My First post! Had my '99 Disco 2 TD5 GS about a month now, love it.

Quick Question, Currently it's riding on 235/70/16's (Standard LR alloys) 7J 16 I think whatever that means?

I want to fit some new tyres (All terrains, light ones though nothing too drastic though) and fancy something a bit beefier, wider - 265/70/16's on the rim? Will they fit and be OK?

I did have a look...but couldn't find much. Was wondering if anybody had any previous experience fitting 265'sto standard 16's.

Reason I'm asking is Coz i've seen some up on ebay, but obviously will need to get them fitted at a local garage...no point spending a few hundred and finding they dont fit!

many thanks, I did originally see that but correct me if i'm wrong they only had 265/75R16's and not 265 70's

Fitting is for "Series I" Discoveries only (1989 to 1998)

will work also on Disco2?

phone paddockspares (google it) and ask them to set u up with the biggest BF Goodrich all terrains that will fit your truck without you having to chop /modify it. cheap for what you get, very good tires and amazing milage.
