Hi all, went to look at a 2001 Disco TD5 to buy today. It had the coil conversion done but compressor still in situ and working to fill non existent air bags. Also warning bong going off in car every few seconds with a ride height alarm. Should I avoid or worth further investigation? I could always get an AA inspection done. Asking price is £1995 but I've already indicated I'd be nearer to £1k. Thanks in advance

They need to get hold of a Nanocom or another LR reputable diagnostic tester and change the "Suspension Type" from Air to Coil in the SLABS settings.
Or tell them to knock off 500 quid and go program it yourself.

If you use nanocom, beside that SLABS setting you must go into "BCU - Instrument pack" too and set the SLS to "NO" to get rid of the warning lamp, strangely that's needed only with nanocom, with hawkeye, foxwell or others the warning goes away if it's set to coils in SLABS
